This project, set in the picturesque village of Mali Zaton, Croatia, revitalizes a 132 sqm structure through architectural renovation, landscape design, and interior transformation. The concept enhances modern aesthetics and functionality while respecting its Mediterranean surroundings. Sliding wooden panels on the façade provide shading, privacy, and a dynamic architectural element, allowing residents to control light and airflow. Open layouts, expansive windows, and extended outdoor spaces seamlessly integrate the interior with the lush landscape. By blending clean forms with regional materials like natural stone and warm wood, the project achieves contemporary sophistication while honoring its context, transforming the residence into a serene, timeless retreat.
